Probation and Parole

For individuals whose struggle with substance abuse brings them into contact with the legal system, the personal losses can be enormous: Families are torn apart, personal health deteriorates, freedom is restricted, and in many instances, lives are lost.

Strong empirical evidence over the past few decades consistently has shown that substance abuse treatment reduces crime. For many people in need of alcohol/drug treatment, contact with the criminal justice system is their first opportunity for intervention.

AA & Associates, Alcohol and Drug Education and treatment services are available through a community partnership with the Kentucky Department of corrections, County offices of Probation and Parole for any individual who finds himself on the wrong side of the law as a result of probation and parole violations due to alcohol/drug involvement.

AA & Associates intense program addresses ingrained patterns of maladaptive coping skills, criminal values, and beliefs along with their prolonged history of substance abuse and crime. The treatment intervention is designed from a clinical and programmatic protocol of treatment following the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
