Goals of the Available Services

  • An Assessment is conducted to determine the most appropriate service(s) required in each individual client.
  • The Clinical Education Program is designed to provide the most individualized appropriate alcohol and drug information currently available to improve our client’s knowledge pertaining to their own individual relationship to alcohol and drugs.
  • To assist our clients to identify the Trait’s that determine their relationship to mind/mood altering chemicals as a social abuse or a dependent relationship.
  • To assist our clients to recognize and to accept the disease of Chemical Dependency as a primary progressive and often fatal illness.
  • To refer our client’s where appropriate to special community based counseling, psychological/Psychiatric, Medical or Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
  • To monitor: support groups, individual therapy sessions, midway and discharge counseling sessions including referrals to other appropriate agencies and after care/continuing recovery programs for our clients.

In Summary, the goals for AA & Associates is to reduce the likelihood of Alcohol or Drug Impaired Driving, The frequency of recidivism and the severity of ones over all substance abuse and chemical dependency. Individualized related personal, social and vocational problems among our clients will be identified and addressed.
