This Dog Training Book Worksunderstands how to train a dog correctly. The philosophy and methods of dog training Martin uses are actually training methods Martin has perfected over the years. His methods do find their foundation in the time past German training philosophies that produced the best dogs the world has ever seen. However, to bring these extremely disciplined and effective methods to the general public and make them work on any kind of dog, has taken Martin years of actually working hundreds of dogs to perfect his real world dog training techniques. Martin believes completely in dog training methods that produce results in the real world. He despises the modern day ?positive reinforcement methods? because they do not work under stress and sincere people are fooled into believing that these methods will produce obedient, well-trained dogs. Because of Martin?s love for dogs and the truth regarding how to train them, he is doing all he can to educate the unsuspecting public to the many false training systems used by the many counterfeit dog trainers in the country today. Martin?s professional experience includes being a former police K9 officer. He was also the captain over a very large security K9 unit. Privately, he has been training dogs for many years in the homes of his students, and he is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Martin is the President and Master Dog Trainer for Richling K-9 Training, Inc. He is the owner and master over a Dutch Shepherd's dog named "Zadok" who is living and breathing proof of his ability to correctly train dogs. Currently, both Martin and Zadok are a security K-9 unit contracted to patrol some of the higher crime areas in Louisville Kentucky. A job which they both thoroughly enjoy! |
"No one expects to walk outside and run into a bear. I had no equipment (leash, etc.) on my dog - yet the stress of the situation did not overcome Caana's performance of my commands. I firmly believe that if Caana had been trained in a 'reward' style of training (i.e. - the dog is dependent on treats or clickers to respond), she would not be here today." Ginger McBride |
